Nightcut
Poster and title-card system for a late-night short-film program, printed in one colour to keep the run affordable.
Project
Placeholder copy. Nightcut is a monthly short-film night run out of a single screening room. The brief was a poster that could be reprinted every month on a photocopier, in one ink, without ever looking like a photocopied poster.
System
Placeholder copy. Every poster in the series shares one grid and one condensed display cut; only the crop of the title changes month to month, so the series reads as one continuous object rather than twelve separate designs.
Delivered
Placeholder copy. Delivered as a set of monthly posters, a projected title-card sequence for the screening itself, and a reusable InDesign template so the organisers could keep producing the series without a designer on retainer.
